Hotel Jaiwana Haveli is a good modern hotel located quite close to Lake Pichola. Rooms in the upper floors have a view of Lake Pichola. While it is a good hotel but there are few downsides. The restaurant is situated on 4th floor. They do not have lift service and room service. Hence it becomes impossible to take an elderly person with you. Rooms are designed in a modern manner and are quite good.
Restaurant menu is limited but very very expensive (which is the case for entire Udaipur by the way).
It steps short of been a great hotel. One more thing- if you are an Indian do not expect to be welcomed a lot.
The rooms were modern with good fittings. One cannot complain about the outlay of the hotel. Also been located near to Lake Pichola the roof top restaurant has some good views.
The service was very poor in fact not there at all. Also the restaurant is by any standards overpriced and should be only used to have tea. Also the attitude towards Indians is non receptive.

A very satisfying stay. Very clean property with humble and cooperative staff. Good rooms with all the basic facilities.
The view from the top. The hotel is overlooking the lake and that is the highlight of the property. Excellent food and very decent and friendly owners
Can not drive to the hotel hence either walk or take an auto. Need to climb lot of stairs to reach the top.

No room service. Usually these hotels are meant for budget foreign tourists. However a Indian needs his cup of tea in room when he spends RS 2000 a night. !!! Other wise a fantastic place.
