A nightmarish experience at the hotel which we had booked through hotels.com months in advance from 28.12.2011 to 2.01.2012. We even had confirmation receipt from hotels.com confirming reservation of four rooms.But to our horror when we reached the hotel, they denied having received any such request. Enless waiting calls to hotels.com had a adifferent story altogether stating that the reservation is showing confirmed on their computer screens.
Either it was a big New years scam where the hotel was trying to make more money by offering the same rooms at exorbitant rates(they even offered to us at triple the price) ,which means their was availibility but they refused to acknowledge the receipt from hotels.com.
And by the way all family persons, pls. check beorehand they also seem to have a weird no kids spolicy .Wonder whats happening in the hotel.
