Excellent homestay for a relaxing holiday. If you are looking for non boistrous, non beachy Goan holiday with a friendly family, comfortable stay of high quality, lovely nature, this is the place to go to. Churches and temples, beaches, markets are accessible from Curtorim for those who wish to visit them.

This homestay in the beautiful village of Curtorim is the benchmark for homestays. Excellent home, beautiful surroundings, good homemade food and most of all, a lovely friendly family. The home is a painstakingly restored over 100 year old portuguese house. It has all the comforts of modern living, but retains the best of the old world charm. The effort by the family to retain the essense of the original home cannot be missed by anyone visiting the place. The home is tastefully furnished and complements the antecedents of the home. The lush green surroundings are beautiful. The tranquility is an antidote to any stressed out traveller. However all this pales when you meet the lovely family. Calm, friendly and helpful, you are put to ease by them. Curtorim is also close to historical places, the beaches etc in South Goa. As your stay ends, you wish it was longer. When you have Arco Iris to go to in Goa, who wants the informal, boistrous beach scene?

Nothing!

The ambience, the serenity and the heritage home is a dream come true home to live. But to experience living in one is good enough for a life time. My family and I were fortunate to live at Arco Iris for 4 whole days and had a wonderful time. We were transported to the India in its 60's.

My stay at Arco Iris reminds me of a quote by Henry Miller - "One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things." My visit to Goa this summer revealed the other side of me and Goa. Thanks to the little hosts T2s (Trusha and Trikaya), Benita and Ganesh.

Very beautifully restored mansion with fabulous views of the lake in front of the house. The rooms are filled with antiques and very tastefully done up. Extremely clean. The hosts are very chilled out and always around to guide you.
