Just an hour's drive from the Hardwar railway station, the resort's simplistic yet charming facade enticed us in. We were greeted by friendly staff and were immediately struck by the views from the resort. It is bang on the banks of the majestic river Ganges and has an enthralling view of the Rajaji National Park, a boat ride to which was eventually arranged by the resort! The resort's gardens almost kiss the river, and one can walk on the Resort's private riverside esplanade to soak in the sight, sound and smell of Mother Nature. Our rooms were all riverfacing (in fact we later found out that all rooms in the Resort face the river!) and had awe-inspiring views every morning. The Resort arranges for various activities including Safari in the National Park and white water rafting. Being slight adrenalin junkies, we opted for the latter, and had a fantastic time! The food is palatable (Rishikesh is a strict vegetarian city)

Overall, the perfect weekend getaway for city mice like us! Location best.

slightly above average pricing, but totally worth it!

The most amazingly located hotel in Rishikesh! It really is Ganga Kinare (on the banks of the Ganges). The river flows right next to the hotel and the USP of the hotel would have to be its private ghat! One can stroll across the well manicured gardens of the hotel and walk up to the river to offer a prayer or just enjoy the sight and smell of the sacred river. Apart from the proximity to the river, the hotel also offers a splendid view of the Rajaji National Park, known for its bountiful flora and fauna. The rooms are cosy and contemporary and the food is really good. Service of the hotel staff is quick and satisfactory. All in all, very enjoyable stay and highly recommended to all Rishikesh tourists!

Location is unbelieavable! View from the hotel is mindblowing. Great service and delicious food!

1. 4 Star Rating: The Overall experience I had does not stand up to this rating. 2. Value for Money: Below Average( for the hotel quality and level of services) (4 on a scale of 10) 3. Location: Excellent, landscaped small garden deck by the river side is the Main attraction. 4. Staff: Restaurant staff outsanding, food quality V good, special instructions on food are honoured. 5. Outsourced services: Eg Taxi are 4 times market rates, exhorbitant to the extent of feeling fleeced! 6. Staff at delhi office are keen to "net" you by making you pay in advance for the entire stay so that you cannot even move out!!!!!

1. Location: Excellent, landscaped small garden deck by the river side is the Main attraction. 2. Staff: Restaurant staff outsanding, food quality V good, special instructions on food are honoured.

1. Hotel getup: A very sad picture, Overall hotel needs a renovation, 2. Rooms quality poor, toilets, bathtubs are stained, fittings are leaking causing water leak on floor and water marks on floor, 3. Poor house keeping attention, comodes are stained, no attention to maintenance, poor quality linen, most bed linen is old and very rough, probably washed with bleaches and detergents, even though thet say 24 hrs but you have to ask for hot water and then they turn it on, else it is off. 4. Ambience within hotel: The rooms, corridors etc smell of kitchen all the time, 5. Staff are not properly trained: Most hotel staff, in particular house keeping staff keep talking and calling in loud voices within the corridors 6. Outsourced services: EG Taxi services are exhobitantly charged, sometimes rates are 4 times the normal rates.

Pathetic and this is not only my view but every single person who stayed there was in sync and was of the same opinion.

Never ever stay at that hotel. Right from the staff, manager, GM, reception, everything sucks. The only respite with its view, at it stands next to the holy Ganges and gives you a real good view.

The Manager always wore a trauma look on his face. Room service was a crap (I literally had to call 7 times for an ashtray, 12 times for a TV Remote batteries), food order always came in bits and pieces. They don't have anything to rejoice. Buffet breakfast had just 3-4 things on their cards Toast/Smabhar with Idli or Vada and Parantha with Tea/Coffee and they charge you god-damn 5K for one day stay.
