Very Very Bad experience with overall services of ROYAL PALACE RESORT, BHAGSUNAG, Dharamshala (including front office staff).

NOTHING as I mentioned very much Bad experience with Hotel Staff, Hotel Services including HOTEL OWNERS because they know to get the bookings done with their Hotel but don't know and don't have any interest that how their customers are sufferings due to lack of their hotel's quality, services and ambience what they used to say/commit to their customes over the phone while taking the bookings/confirmations. Very much BAD EXPERIENCE with Front Office staff(no hospitality they shown). I won't come back to visit this Hotel again in future and never ever suggest anyone and not even to any of my enemy. Well I would like to say to every that person who is going to read my reviews here that don't go n stay there cos they people wht commit but don't give it at all. Hotel owners whoever so they are only concern to take bookings & to convice the people with their visions that they have good room views and services but they are not upto mark anywhere.

I mention here few inconveniences, lapses, complaints that we suffered through. We were told by Hotel Front Office staff tht their Phone lines are out of order and so tht we can't make calls from room and we have to come down to reception every time. Their welcome drink which was including in our room services TEA/coffee but given SALTY TEA/Coffee to us and then we asked for soup instead of it then too salty soups given to us. Hotel's Bedsheet, pillows were dammn DIRTY like anything and they denied to give us extra blanket, room heater and told us IF needed then they will charge extra. In complimentry Cold drinks they offered us Coke but no opener and by many requests got d opener at 11 pm in night. Asked for dinner but delivered after 45 mins.when asked said that they have other work to do also. we stayed 2 nights and there was function and music was too loudly playing and we cudn't enjoy/rest there. In their comp.fruit basket fruits 2 unriped bananas n smallest size of dry oranges.V bad

The resort is centrally located in Mandi with spacious, well appointed rooms. It has nice garden restaurant. Very courteous and helpful staff. Would surely recommend it to everyone.

The hotel looked quite nice from the outside, but the insides were dingy and worn with no sign of staff. The room i was given was automatically "upgraded" without my even asking for it, but to my dismay this new "super deluxe room" had dirty, stained and dusty sheets with hair strewn around, the walls were cracked and there was seepage staining through the walls. I was further horrified to find that i shared the room with insects and reptiles galore. The phone was emitting strange noises, and stopped working for an entire day due to electricity shortage : the hotel had no power back up. To top it all, I was scared to take a shower because I'd find myself either freezing to death or being boiled alive since their was something wrong with the plumbing. Of course, even after all this i dared to order breakfast, which, logically, was the worst food i have ever tasted. This was via Room Service, which was terminated from the next day onwards, without any notice. A bad experience.

The location and the room condition of this hotel are excellent. Food and services are also ok-ok.
