Singapore packages

Posted on 05 Sep 2008 by: mahavadi
Wanted to visit Singapore for 3-4 days. Makemytrip, Yatra, Travelguru websites seem to be offering packages for around 25000/- , wanted to know the actual fare (airport taxes etc.) and hidden expenses, if any. Also any idea on how these packages are?

You can do Singapore on your own also. Get a good airfare from any travel agents , though the best airlines would be singapore airlines. Once you fix the airlines then you need a decnt hotel to stay. If you are vegetarian then hotels around the Little India area would ne the best. I stayed in a place called The park which was right beside/ behind Mustafa shopping mall. There are also lots of Veg south indian and gujrati eating joints around this area. You should get a very decent accomodation with say 100 USD. That price includes an enormous breakfast usually. regarding sightseeing every hotel will guide you and believe me it is quiet cheap. The MRT ( Mass Rapid Transport) system is very economical and extremely effective. You should not miss - Jurong Bird park, Sentosa, Night safari, Walk along the old china Town, Walk along Orchard street, Dinner along the quay, Post midnight shopping at Mustafa, Dinner at Newton Circus... There are lots more to do at Singapore .. Was this answer helpful?

....adding to that what Joey says..just compare the package and prices from all and good if you can check the same from some offline agent that would give you clear idea. Also don't jump at a discounted deal that comes your way...check what is on offer? What hotels they would be putting you...what other expenses you need to incur...thanks Was this answer helpful?

buying a package would be the safest option for you since you're going there for the very first time... buy it from a reputed online portal...the names you've consulted already are good names in the industry and would sure have a package to suit ur interest and pocket.. :) ...as for the fare breakup..i fear none of the above would be keen on revealing that to you.. So man! lay ur trust and go ahead and book one :) Was this answer helpful?
