Visit Tawang, is my target for Dussera Vacation

i''m planning atrip to tawang this dussera vacation, but unfrotunately i''m unable to make any headway, how do i reach there and any good hotels that can accommodate me and my family of 5 ( 3 KIDS)

The circuit house at Tawang is superb on location and vista..this I've heard for I too was planning to visit Tawang a year back and was doing some research on the acc options and route to take..sadly didnt materalize

...but I remember what made me consider Tawang was a photo of the circuit house i saw in some travel mag... ....should you find an equally good place to stay in Tawang..let me know..since I might try and work on visiting the place again..although its quite far from Mumbai and I.m not sure if i'd manage to tkae that many days off from work..nyway..all the best!

Hi there...forgot to mention your location :) nyway..looked up ur profile... You can divide your journey into 3 parts starting out as you would be from Hyderabad... Part 1 - Take a train to Guwahati, Part 2 - Take an Arunachal State Transport bus at 6 in the morning from Guwahati to a place in Arunachal called Bomdila. The bus will take the entire day to reach Bomdila and enroute at Bhalukpong (Assam-Arunachal border) your IDs will be checked (all foreigners need an innerline permit to go beyond this point). ...Part 3 - Next day you'll have to take a jeep to Tawang as the route is narrow thereonwards and buses do not ply.... the route from Bomdila to Tawang goes over the Sela pass(4000 meters in alt) and takes up an entire day again :) ... one of the most scenic drives we've ever done..hop u have fun...cheers
